Grace (Rawdon) Crawford's Obituary
Mrs. Grace Crawford, age 93, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. She was born October 21, 1913 in Troy, Tennessee, to James and Frances (Percifull) Rawdon and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. She married Wellington “Coffee” I. Crawford on November 21, 1937 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1983. Grace was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles. SURVIVORS include her children, Jackie (Jack “Pete”) Peterson, Darlyene A. Swarts, and Billie (James) Klenk all of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 34 great-great grandchildren; and special sister-in-law, Helen Paquin. She was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Brian Peterson and Jill Torrey, her parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Church officiating. VISITATION will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. INTERMENT will take place at Mona View Cemetery.
