Mrs. Grace L. Carson's Obituary
Mrs. Grace L. Carson, 93, passed away Saturday morning, November 12, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born January 12, 1923 to Derk and Mary (Hayes) Schutter in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Grace was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved to make quilts and enjoyed hymns. However, most of all she wanted to spend time with her grand and great-grandchildren. On August 2, 1943 Grace married Patrick F. Carson, and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2001. Survivors include 5 children, Roberta (John) Larsen, Patrick Carson, Jr., Kenneth (Rhonda) Carson, Tim (Virginia) Carson of Australia, Herb (Sharon) Carson; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Nancy Gill; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 3 children, Edwin, Susan and Kathleen; and several brothers and sisters. The funeral service for Mrs. Carson will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 17, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3040 Evanston Ave., with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
