Grace M. Christiansen's Obituary
Mrs. Grace M. Christiansen, age 95, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 15, 2016. She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on September 18, 1920 to Theodore and Iva (Barnhill) Hager. Grace was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Muskegon. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and flower gardening. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (David) DeWitt; five grandchildren, Dave DeWitt, Aaron DeWitt, Amy (Paul) Rosenberg, Bridget (James) Smith, and Sarah (Michael) Addison; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Landen, Carson, and Andrew; one brother, Theodore (Mozelle) Hager and one sister, Pauline Caffrey. Grace was preceded in death by two husbands, John Pickel in 1951 and Erle Christiansen in 1996; her parents; two brothers and three sisters. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 18, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Douglas VanderMolen officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to Harbor Hospice or Muskegon Rescue Mission.
