Greg A. Hoadley's Obituary
Greg A. Hoadley, age 72, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Grand Haven. He was born on August 18, 1951 in Michigan City, IN to Rodney and Shirley (Hass) Hoadley. Greg worked as an accountant at SMI in Grand Rapids for many years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of Lake Harbor UMC. Greg took pleasure in exploring new places with his travel, and was an adept gardener. He also had a passion for reading and was involved in golf leagues during his life. On November 15, 1975, he married the former Renée Buursma and together spent almost 48 years of marriage together. SUVIVORS include his wife, Renée; two children, Robin Hoadley and Jared Hoadley; sister, Sherry Bingaman; nephews, Matthew Pries and Zachary Buursma; and niece, Jasmine Buursma. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Shirley. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11AM Friday November 17, 2023 at Lake Harbor UMC (4861 Henry St. Norton Shores, MI 49441) with Pastor Mary Ivanov officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the services, from 10-11 AM. Memorial Contributions to Lake Harbor UMC or Age Well Services will be appreciated.
