Greg Johnson's Obituary
Gregory Brent Johnson, age 49, passed away on January 4, 2015. Greg was born on February 1, 1965 in Muskegon, MI. to Robert and Maren Johnson. He worked as a laborer for many years at Irwin’s seating. Greg was passionate about his music, even as said keeping his drum set next to his bed so the first thing he could do when he woke up was play. He also enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He was a mentor, an inspiration and a true father, brother, friend and lover. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his fiance Julie Way; son Kameron Shepherd; brother, Lyndon (Sue) Johnson; 2 sisters, Sherrill (Gene) Stamps, and Marsheela Johnson; step-mother Barbara Johnson; and a wide group of loving, supportive friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Benefit and Celebration of Greg’s life will be held on Sunday January 11, 2015 at The Rusty Spoke 2411 Hall Road. A meet and greet will begin at 3pm with a service at 4pm and food and music to follow.
