Greg Allen Nelson's Obituary
Greg Allen Nelson, age 62, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Poppen Residence in Muskegon. He was born November 25, 1961, in Grand Haven to Andrew K. and Janet A. (Brondyke) Nelson. A lifelong resident of West Michigan, Greg will be best remembered for both his love of nature and spirit of adventure. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also loved camping with this father and in their younger years, his boys. Greg was also a true handyman repairing vehicles and bikes as well as furniture refinishing and upholstery repair.
He is survived by two sons: Michael Brower and Erich Nelson and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Janet, and brother, Andrew Harry Nelson, in 1972.
A private family celebration of Greg’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Greg may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at http://www.sytsemafh.com.
