Gregory A. Ribesky's Obituary
Mr. Gregory A. Ribesky, age 62, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 16, 2017 while in the loving arms of his wife, Cindy. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 21, 1955 to Robert “Bob” and Marguerite “Maggie” (Moran)Ribesky. He married the love of his life, the former Cindy Shields on November 23, 1991. Gregg worked as a registered nurse and spent most of his career working in the Emergency Departments of Mercy and most recently North Ottawa Community Hospital. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed racing for many years. His most recent boat “The Curly Shuffle” still sails on both Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. He also took pleasure in helping and maintaining the many gardens that he and Cindy created. He loved golf, the local beaches, cooking and spending time with friends. Gregg also enjoyed his recent travels abroad and his experiences in Italy with Cindy and their friends. Gregg’s love and determination was inspiring and encouraged those around him. He will be sincerely missed by all of those who knew and loved him. SURVIVORS include his loving wife, Cindy, of 26 years; sisters, Mary Ribesky of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Susan Ruel of Grand Rapids, Michigan; niece, Beth Pasikowski of Grand Rapids, Michigan and her son, Ronan. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231)798-1100. VISITATION will be held from 5-7PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
