Gregory H. Kemp's Obituary
Mr. Gregory Howard Kemp, age 56, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at his home in Muskegon. He was born December 16, 1950 in Muskegon to Howard B. and Julia W. (Hanks) Kemp and was a life resident of the area. He was employed over 20 years as a carpenter with Carpenter Local #100. Greg enjoyed salmon fishing in Lake Michigan as well as deer hunting. He was also an avid reader. He was a member of Community of Christ Church. SURVIVORS include his 5 children, Christopher, Casey, Katie, Lindsay, Ryan; his brothers, Joe and Vickie, Rick and Kim, John and Dawn; his sister, Carol and Craig; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother-in-law, Julius Weathers. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with Priest Mari Larson officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION with Greg’s family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
