H. Lucille Steinhauer's Obituary
Mrs. H. Lucille Steinhauer, age 91, passed away on December 31, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 13, 1923 in Muskegon to Sidney and Blanch (Wood) Gorman. She was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Lucille worked 28 years for the County of Muskegon as Clerk in the Treasurer’s office. She was very loved and dedicated to her family. Lucille was a baseball fan and loved the Detroit Tigers. On June 27, 1941 she married Joseph F. Steinhauer and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1960. SURVIVORS include son, Joseph V. (Sandra) Steinhauer, daughters, Patricia Dick and Bonnie (Donald) Kowitz; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Sidney (Rosemary) Gorman and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Jeffery A. Kowitz, son-in-law, Thomas Dick, sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Harold Church. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM, January 6, 2015 at St. Mark Lutheran Church (4475 Henry St.) with Pastor Mark Gilson officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church or Harbor Hospice. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery.
