I am so sorry to hear about Hale's passing. I remember him being around when we were kids but he was usually working in his garage. So comforting that he went home to be with "Fritz". I also want to say my prayers go out to all of you during this time of loss of both parents in such a short time. Pam Pellegrom Ledford
Uncle Hale was always smiling and I am sure his biggest smile was entering Heavens gates and seeing aunt Fritz there to greet him. They are both smiling down on his awesome family now. Heaven definitely gained a wonderful man. Love to all, Rose and Larry Dixon.
this is my grandpa that taught me how to ride dirt bikes. well him and gram. I seam to remember riding more with gram than grandpa. but they taught me the right way to ride. I remember always going up north to the trailer and unloading the bikes and we would ride on state land the entire weekend. not sure of the age but I would guess around 8 or 9 . they had Yamaha gt 80's that we would ride.
one time I will never forget is I was messing around down by the creek in this area that grandpa had took some dirt out of with his bulldozer and I think it was mearle dragoo (sure it is spelled wrong) came over on some 125 or 250 and I heard this bike coming and it was coming fast so I ran to the trail to see and it was grandpa and he was going so fast I was sure he would never make the 90 degree corner that headed back up towards the trailer and I will never forget he had it wide open with it so layed down I swear the damn handle bars were almost touching the dirt and he went around that corner and was gone. I remember looking up the trail in disbelief that he made the corner.then I kept looking at his tracks in the dirt in disbelief I will never forget that..ever of course I told on him as soon as I walked back up to the trailer and seen gram
my grandparent's were amazing. I don't like to share much of my personal life but I just wanted everyone to know what amazing people gram and grandpa were .they were a gift from God
I met both Hale and Betty Gee when looking for my cabin that was near there's.. They opened up there home, hearts and there family to me and my husband. We would get together almost every time I went to the cabin, She told me that I reminded her of her daughter because I was so chatty. So in that honor I decorated my cabin because of there wonderful daughter Kathy Sanford who worked at the post office. I love this family and will miss them terrible.
