I have so many fond memories of working on cars with my dad and brother. He always wanted us to leave things stock. Lol! He was always there to lend a hand, we all miss him!

He was the best grandpa anyone could ever ask for. I spent my entire childhood with him and my grandma, always outdoors, exploring, learning, and going on little adventures together.
He taught me so much — about gardening, plants, animals, especially birds — and he sparked many of the passions I still carry with me as an adult. The love I have for animals and the outdoors began with him.
I look back on every memory with fondness. I remember spending summers in his garden with him, riding in the car and playing a game where we would scratch off a number on a lottery ticket every time we spotted a wild animal. I remember him letting me drive up the long driveway when I was just a kid, and how he would always stop the car to help a turtle safely cross the road.
I was at their house every day for years, and he and my grandma played such an important role in shaping me. He helped teach me compassion, kindness, and how to love unconditionally. I will carry those lessons — and him — with me always.
Sonny was a great son and loved by everyone who knew him. Respected by all. He had a wonderful sense of humor that put a smile on everyone’s face no matter what age they might be. He also was a pretty good card player too, I always left the table with my pockets empty but always had a lot of fun loosing. Harold will always be remembered. Cousin Jeff
