Harold DeJonge's Obituary
Mr. Harold C. DeJonge, age 84, passed away early Monday morning, November 19, 2007 at his home. He was born March 3, 1923 in Muskegon to Folkert and Nettie (Bakker) DeJonge, and was a life resident. Mr. DeJonge was WWII Army Air Corp. veteran, and was retired from Teledyne Continental Motors. He was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church, the West Michigan Tour Riders, and the Gold Wing Road Warriors. On June 14, 1947 he married Donna L. Rake, and she survives him along with 3 daughters, Nancy (Bill) Hegedus of Fruitport, Vicky (Robert) Melamed of Spring Lake, Carol (Joe) Paquin of Fruitport; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Fellowship Reformed Church with Rev. Greg VanderMeer officiating. Graveside Services will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with military rites under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council of the VFW. VISITATION at
