Harold E. LeTarte's Obituary
Mr. Harold E. LeTarte, age 95, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at his home. Mr. LeTarte was born June 1, 1914 to Edward and Esther (Magnuson) LeTarte in Muskegon and had lived his entire life in the area. He was employed as a pattern maker at Pyle Pattern until his retirement in 1976. His beloved wife, Ellen (Bullman) LeTarte preceded him in death on May 10, 2006. He attended Faith Baptist Church. Mr. LeTarte enjoyed metal work, gardening, many outdoor activities and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Clyde (Kathleen) LeTarte of Whitehall and Carol (Donald) Herrgord of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Deann (Jim) Kiely, Suellen (Carl) Alfredson, Richard LeTarte and Rhonda (Brett) Fiero; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Helen Houston of Ravenna and sister-in-law, Edna Szymanski. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 1PM Monday, October 5, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church, 3593 Whitehall Rd., with Pastor James Swierenga officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church or the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
