Harold O. "Butch" Meyer's Obituary
Mr. Harold O. Meyer II, age 69, passed away Thursday morning, May 16, 2013 at his home. He was born May 10, 1944 in Muskegon to Harold and Evelyn (Grosa) Meyer and had been a life resident of the area. “Butch” had owned and operated General Plumbing Supply for over 40 years, prior to his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed boating, following the stock market and visiting casinos in his spare time. SURVIVORS include his wife Sherry; 4 children, Jack (Tammy) Meyer of Muskegon, Michele (Dale) McClain of Muskegon, Sonya (Bob) Schaut of West Olive and Valarie (Eric) Shelby of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, Sharlean Pruitt, Sami Jo Benkert, Samantha Nesbitt, Kaleigh Nesbitt, Lacey Schaut, Brooke Schaut, Jasmine Young, Blair Thompson, Jay Thompson and Lajla Pervan; 1 brother, Howard (Sharon) Meyer of Grand Haven; and by his beloved dog, Colt. “Butch” was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn Meyer; and son-in-law, Jeff Nesbitt.
