Mrs. Harriet Bush's Obituary
Mrs. Harriet Bush, age 89, passed away Saturday morning, January 28, 2012 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on September 17, 1922 to Harry and Gertrude (VanderVeen) Steigenga. Mrs. Bush had been a member of the former Moorland Community Church and was a member of the VFW Post #446 Women’s Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler. On November 6, 1943, she married Orlo Bush in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on August 30, 1987. She is survived by 3 children, Larry (Linda) Bush, Nancy (Craig) Wilke, and Cheryl Bush; 4 grandchildren, Wendi (Juan) Zamora, Lt. Andrew Bush, Kristie Young, and Amy Wilke; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Annette Biddle; and dear friend, Joe Palsrok. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jenny Golliver; infant sister, Ella Steigenga; and 2 brothers, Gerrit and Barney Steigenga.
