Dick and Family,

During my many years in Muskegon I spent a lot of time with Harriett, what a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and friend she was. The years I spent at Our Lady of Grace were filled with Harriett and I doing sometype of craft, decorating or something at the church, she never said no. Dick she loved you greatly, often speaking of you.

The only way I can help you remember me is that you (Dick) put windows in a house that I lived in on Marquette.

Harriet, had shown her love for each and everyone she knew. I thought of her alot times in my life. She had lots of love of her family. She was open person, spoke what she thought.
She always remember to speak loud for me and that meant alot, she took her time to make sure I heard her.

My bestfriend Chris, Dick, and to the entire Egeler family...
I very much understand the emotional rollercoaster you are on right now. So many memories from laugh out loud happy to unbearable sad. May knowing that Harriet is in a much better place get you through these really tough times. The family unit lives on...to continue carrying out traditions and create more wonderful memories. I remembered Harriet when she lived across from me on Becker Rd. My kids grew up with her kids. I have been living in this house since 1959. Im sorry to say I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs.Egeler.However, I am friends with her daughter Annette.
