Harry B. Brown's Obituary
Mr. Harry B. Brown, 87, passed away Wednesday evening, April 25, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born February 22, 1925 in Muskegon to Erwin and Flossie (Dillabaugh) Brown, he was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Harry was a US Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church. He had been employed as a salesman at Sears for 32 years before retiring in 1983. His SURVIVORS include his children: Pamela (Donald) DeLong, Mark (Vicki) Brown, Vernon (Cheryl) Brown, Sandra Bridges, Floyd Gee, and Harold “Luck” (Lynn) Gee all of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Frederick Brown; his wife, Lenora M. Bates Gee Brown; daughter-in-law, Jean Gee; and three sisters: Jeannette Jones, Winifred Payne, and Lillian Thompson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, 1568 W. Giles Rd., with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. VISITATION will be from 10-11 A.M. Monday at the Church. Private family graveside rites will be in East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
