Mr. Harry E. Morgan's Obituary
Mr. Harry E. Morgan, age 85, passed away Sunday evening, January 25, 2015. He was born February 28, 1929 in Owosso, MI to Earl and Bessie (Johnson) Morgan. Harry served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. On June 19, 1954, he married the former Joan “Kay” Alliton and she preceded him in death on February 1, 2013. Harry was a Michigan State University graduate and had worked with GTE for 32 years prior to his retirement in 1983. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved time spent with his family. Harry is survived by his children, Jeff Morgan and Mickey (Don) Mosely of Norton Shores; 4 grandchildren, Chad Jandron, Brent (Michelle) Jandron, Stacey Jandron and Troy (Becky Perla) Jandron; two great-grandsons, Ty Jandron, Henry Jandron, and one on the way; a sister, Nancy Beattie of Owosso; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Kay, he was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Chuck and Ross. In keeping with Harry’s wishes, private family services will be held.
