Mr. Harry A. Nelson, Jr., age 74, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2003 in Muskegon. He was born September 23, 1929 to Harry A. and Roxzena A. (Alger) Nelson in Muskegon, lived in Wisconsin, Virginia, and Maryland before moving back home to Muskegon. He was an American Industrial CEO for many different companies in many different areas of the country, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, was involved with the Reformed Church of America, the American Legion Post #11, and the Don Rea VFW Post. Harry graduated from Muskegon High School, where he excelled in sports, attended Hope College, and graduated from Western Michigan University. He was also a Golden Gloves champion. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Nancy Ann Nelson of Maryland, Marianne (Chris) Weddington of Virginia, Brooks Luscher of W. Virginia, Harry “Walter” Nelson of W. Virginia; 3 grandchildren, Kevin Nelson, Christina and Nicole Weddington; 1 brother, John Nelson of Muskegon; many loving cousins and nephews. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Friday at
