Harry Junior Nash's Obituary
Mr. Harry Junior Nash, age 83, passed away Thursday morning, December 24, 2009. He was born March 20, 1926 in Muskegon to Harry L. and Olive (Wagner) Nash and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1950. Mr. Nash was a WWII U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Muskegon. He worked for S.D. Warren as a maintenance supervisor for 27 years before retiring in 1988. Mr. Nash was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Giles Road. He had a passion for wood working, and his family all benefited from this unique gift. On April 24, 1947 he married Drucilla “Dru” Zwahlen in Salt Lake City, Utah and she preceded him in death on August 27, 2008. SURVIVORS include 9 children, Sherry Schuiteman of Grant, MI, Marcia (Jerald) Cohn of Jupiter, FL, Nettie Miller of Long Beach, CA, Gregg (Beth) Nash of North Muskegon, Gary (Julie) Nash of Fountain Hills, AZ, Garth (Becky) Nash of Paw Paw, MI, Garrett (Shannon) Nash of Twin Lake, Glenn (Janice) Nash of Virginia, Geoffrey (Tina) Nash of Muskegon; 28 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Pat) Nash of Montague; sister, Margaret (Bud) Heiss of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Mitchell. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 4, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1725 W. Giles Rd.) with Bishop Alan Wilson conducting. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Sunday, December 27, 2009 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S.
