Harvey Kidner's Obituary
Mr. Donald Harvey Kidner, age 73, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at his home in Norton Shores. He was born in Muskegon on June 24, 1942 and was a life resident of the area. Harvey had worked at Matson Oldsmobile for 25 years and Engine Power Components for 10 years before his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing golf, square dancing, NASCAR races, and attending his son’s motorcycle races. Most importantly, Harvey loved his family, especially time spent with his children and grandchildren. On July 15, 1961, Harvey married the former Erma F. Remington in Muskegon and she survives him along with three children, Donald “Brad” (fiancée, Sherry) Kidner, Robin (Joe) Pastucha and Brian (Molly) Kidner; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, William (Michelle), Mikayla, Samantha, Joey and Joshua; two great-grandchildren, Allison and Sebastian; one brother, Dan Kidner; and one sister, Charlotte (Guy) Weersing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Kidner and Lucille Iervolina. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul C. Appold officiating. VISITATION will be at Trinity Lutheran Church from 2-5 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016 and from 10-11 AM Monday.
