Mr. Harvey J. Wolters Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Harvey J. Wolters, Sr., 84, passed away Saturday, November 17, in Muskegon. He was born August 30, 1934 in Fremont, and lived most of his life in the Muskegon area. He had worked at Midwest Machine before retiring. Mr. Wolters enjoyed camping and snowmobiling, and belonged to the Northside Snow Vets. He loved his work and his family. On October 8, 1955 he married Beverly Ann Wiseman, and she preceded him in death on November 18, 2001. Survivors include 5 children: Suzanne (Rodney) Voorhies, Sandra (Lauren) Webb, Brenda (Paul) Hanson, Harvey Wolters, Jr., Mark (Kemmera) Wolters; 13 grandchildren: Chris (Julie), Stacey (Joe), Jeff (Nicole), Melissa (Chris), Karla (Ryan), Nicole (Rob), E., Brittney (Geoff), Brandon (Melissa), Nicholas, Mitchel, Logan and Kennidy; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Alfred Wolters, Kenneth (Lois) Wolters; 2 sisters: Jean Brown, Betty (Bud) Meeuwenberg. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister: Ruth Hoffman; and 1 brother: Mike Wolters. The funeral service will be Friday, November 23, at 1:00 PM at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at E.
