Hattie Lappo's Obituary
Mrs. Hattie Lappo, age 90, beloved wife, wonderful mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006. She was born June 25, 1916 in Muskegon to Ignacy and Boleslawa (Breitfus) Senkowski and had been a life resident of the area. When she was 18, she owned her own neighborhood grocery store in the Nims area. Mrs. Lappo was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where she had been a member of the Rosary Society and past president of the PTA at St. Michael School. On October 5, 1935, she married Leo L. Lappo in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on February 13, 1996. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Marilyn Felinski, Dick Lappo both of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Laureen (Gary) Samples, Jeffrey Felinski, Kimmy Lappo all of Muskegon, Karmen Lappo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Frances Hulka of Dallas, Texas; 4 sisters-in-law, Anna Japenga, Kay Raap, Mary Lappo, Clarissa Lappo; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Senkowski and Florence Domeracki; brother, Frank Senkowski; and son-in-law, Bill Felinski. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Saturday at
