Hazel Elizabeth Duff's Obituary
Mrs. Hazel Elizabeth Duff, age 101, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born in Negaunee, Michigan on March 1, 1919 to Arthur and Elsie (Archambeau) Webb. Hazel was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She spent many years volunteering at St. Francis and cooking for their nuns and priest. Hazel enjoyed raising her family. On June 29, 1940, Hazel married Francis “Frank” Duff in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1987. Hazel and Frank had four daughters, Nancy McKeown (deceased), Judy (Robert, deceased) Sibley of Hudsonville, Mary (Dennis) Johnson of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Peggy (Tom) Jacobson of Muskegon; son-in-law, Dan (Sharon) McKeown of Cadillac; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, Baker; and one sister, Sr. M. Rose Anne Webb, SND of Chardon, Ohio. Hazel was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan McKeown and three brothers, Arthur Jr., William, and Jack Webb. According to Hazel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Her Life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be with husband in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Hazel may be directed to a charity of your choice.
