The Palz families of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada fondly remember watching Jean Ann, and her siblings, grow up summer after summer at Caddy Lake where our families had cottages. Our families were close and visited Grafton, ND regularly in the off season. Her folks kept us abreast of the kids as they graduated, married and raised families of their own.
She was a gracious, tenacious, faith-filled, dedicated wife, mother, nurse and a wonderful role model for all. In honor of her life and friendship, a memorial gifts has been made to Agewell Services.

I have only met Jean Ann once when she and Bob visited Heather in Hong Kong but through a decade of friendship with Heather and more recently spending time with Tess I feel that I have known the older generation of McCanns for a long time. I know what an amazing woman, mother, wife and human all around she was and how deeply she will be missed by her family and others whom she has touched. I also know that she is now at peace.
