Heather M. Pollock's Obituary
Heaven has gained another loving angel, as Heather (Davis) Pollock, age 59, passed away
peacefully on February 1, 2023. In her final days, she was surrounded by her family and close
friends.
Heather married Will Pollock, the love of her life, in 1985 and enjoyed 37 years of unselfish
love, laughter, and adventure. They built a life and raised a family in Twin Lake, Michigan. She
was the proud mother of four children, Christopher, Autumn, Carrie, and Michael, and said
often that her life has always been for her family. With her nurturing, care and support, her
children turned into engineers, artists, teachers, and dancers. She beamed with pride with each
of their accomplishments large and small, and frequently let them know she was incredibly
proud of everything they did.
She loved spending time at the beach. Any beach, anywhere and any time, was her happy
Place. It never mattered how cold or blustery it was, Heather found connection through the
water, sand, and sun.
Heather had a unique ability to be a stranger to no one, and easily made friends everywhere she went. She was easy-going, open, and quick to laugh, which made people feel immediately at ease and accepted. Everyone who knew her quickly grew to love and appreciate her, and she has a large and diverse group of friends and family who love her and will miss her dearly. Heather perceived signs from others who passed before her, and instantly felt comforted when she would see her mother appear in the form of a flamingo, her father in the form of a hawk or a dime, and her grandmother in the form of a hummingbird. We have no doubt that Heather will continue this legacy and remind us that she is at peace, yet still alive in our hearts and minds.
Above all, her family meant the world to Heather, and she cherished all the time spent with them. Her generous and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Clinton "Will" Pollock and four children, Christopher, Autumn, Carrie and Michael; her sister, April; and many other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and her father. A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. A visitation with the family will be held one-hour prior at the funeral home. Please help the family honor Heather’s passion for the beach by wearing beach-inspired clothing to her memorial.
