Heidi Ann French's Obituary
Heidi Ann French, age 43, passed away Wednesday morning, December 17, 2008. She was born August 23, 1965 in Landstuhl, Germany to John and Janice (Kaminski) Swierczewski. Heidi attended Reeths Puffer High School, graduating in 1983. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Michigan,and her Master’s Degree from Western Michigan University, She taught 4th grade in Stevensville, MI for eight years, prior to having her family. On May 29, 1994, she married Christopher French in Whitehall, and he survives her. Heidi was Phi Beta Kappa and had also taught school for 2 years in Naples, Italy. In addition to her husband, Heidi is also SURVIVED by her 2 children, Joshua and Hannah; her parents, John and Janice Swierczewski of Muskegon; a brother, John (Amy) Swierczewski of Richmond, VA; a sister, Christine Johnson of Muskegon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Heidi will be held 3 PM Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Walburn Chapel-1547 Sherman Blvd- 1-231-759-8565,with her pastor, Rev. Ron Aulbach officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service(2-3PM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Recovery Cooperative D.B.S.A Support Group, P.O. Box 0355 Muskegon, MI, 49443. Heidi’s family donated her organs through the Gift of Life program, helping to save many people’s lives through her gift.
