Mrs. Helen D. Artz's Obituary
Mrs. Helen D. Artz, 93, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in Largo, FL. She was born July 1, 1921 to Charles N. and Florence E. (Miller) Maitland in LeRoy, MI, and lived for many years in Muskegon before moving to Largo. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. On August 5, 1939 Helen married Samuel F. Artz, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1995. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Priscilla Ann Campbell of Belleair Beach, FL; 2 grandchildren, Dennis (Jennie Esno) Campbell, Denise Campbell; 1 grandson, James Campbell; brothers and sisters, Duane Maitland, Donald Maitland, Charles Maitland, Daniel Maitland, Theodore Maitland; Alice Wildt, Virginia Passenier, Gloria Decker, and Elaine Baun; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dale and Jerry Maitland, and 1 sister Mary. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Egelston Township Cemetery.
