Helen Ann Brown's Obituary
Mrs. Helen A. Brown, age 93, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at her home. She was born January 22, 1919 in Muskegon to Anton and Mary (Gabriel) Fixel. Helen married Clifford Murray in Muskegon in 1938. She later married Henry Brown in Muskegon on February 7, 1950. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1978. Helen was employed at Great Lakes Plating and retired in 1984. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Murray) O’Connell, Bernard (Faye) Brown, Sr., Marcia (Robert) Ahearn, Mary Jo (Kerrie Hurlbut) Bradley and Ann Dubois; 1 sister, Velma Race; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother and her grandson, Jerry “JJ” Dubois. Helen was a member of the Altar Society and Sacred Heart Catholic Church where a MEMORIAL MASS will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Norman Droski as celebrant. VISITATION will begin, 1 hour prior to the Mass. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
