Helen J. Henley's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Henley, 88, passed away early Thursday morning, May 8, 2014 at her home. She was born December 23, 1925 to Henry N. and Alvina C. (Fiene) Strickler in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and lived in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Helen worked at Sealed Power for 36 years before retiring, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Muskegon. On August 24, 1950 she married George D. Henley, and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2003. SURVIVORS include her son Mike (Cindi) Henley of Jenison; 2 grandsons, Zachary and Tanner. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 12, at the Bethel Baptist Church of Muskegon, 1066 E. Byron, with Rev. Doug VanderMolen officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, and burial will take place at Norton Cemetery.
