Helen Jacobs' Obituary
Mrs. Helen Jacobs, age 92, passed away at home on September 27, 2012. She was born on December 25, 1919 to William and Ernestine (Mittelstadt) Froehlich in Rib Lake, WI. Helen loved gardening, porcelain doll crafting and polka dancing. On October 27, 1939 she married Bernard B. Jacobs and he preceded her in death in 1999. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Larry (Kathleen) Jacobs of Victor, NY, Margaret (William) Schaefer, Christine (Steven) Nerheim of Houston, TX and Richard (Mary) Jacobs; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Froehlich and sisters, Margaret Willis and Mary Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Reid and granddaughter, Andrea Nerheim. According to Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place. MEMORIALS can be made to Harbor Hospice (1050 W. Western Ave. Suite 400 Muskegon, MI 49441). Burial will take place at Laketon Twp. Cemetery.
