Mrs. Helen Rose Moureau's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Rose Moureau, age 91, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her home. She was born January 14, 1921 in Muskegon to James and Henrietta (Vandenbosch) Hughes, and was a life resident of the area. Helen married Norman J. Moureau on September 15, 1947 in Bryan, OH, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1995. She was a life member of Central Assembly of God in Muskegon where her parents were charter members. SURVIVORS include 3 children, William (Vicki) Moureau, James (Pam) Moureau, Larry (Roberta) Moureau all of Muskegon; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Joseph Hughes of Muskegon, and one sister, Doris (Harold) Harms of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Central Assembly of God (896 Home Street), with Rev. Dr. Gordon D. Aikin officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM on Tuesday at church. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
