Helen Jean Paschal's Obituary
Ms. Helen Jean Paschal, affectionately known as “Ms. Shepherd,” was born on January 9, 1937 in Magnolia, Arkansas. To the union of Murphey Paschal and Willie Mae Goosby. She moved to Muskegon, MI at an early age and attended Muskegon Heights Public Schools. She enjoyed singing, taking care of others, and watching game shows. Ms. Helen Jean Paschal leaves to cherish her memory, 6 children Kimberly Shepherd, Dennis Paschal, Ricky Paschal, Lisa Paschal, Sheronda (Tony) Williams, and Paula Paschal; one sister, Elizabeth Mitchell; grandkids Sandreka Todd, Brittany Harris, Tiffany Shepherd, Brandy Harris, Ryan Gierzak, Essence Harris, Lynise Harris, Jemere Harris, Tonesia Williams, Katrina Coleman, Aliyah Paschal, Jamyra Mack, Darius Williams, and A’Yria Hannett, 16 great grandkids, and a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Paschal was preceded in death by her son Kyle Shepherd, her parents, grandson Robert Dawson Jr., by two brothers and ten sisters. Public Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. Social Distancing will be enforced with 25 people permitted at a time for visitation. Facial Coverings are required for entry.
