Helen L. Wright's Obituary
Mrs. Helen L. Wright, age 87, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on July 16, 1930 to Francis and Mary (Dangl) Kent. Helen was a life member of Fellowship Reformed Church where she was active with the choir. She spent 18 years as the site manager at Fellowship Reformed Senior Center coordinating the meal program along with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. On March 18, 1951, Helen married Carl A. Wright and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2003. She is survived by four children, Carl (Becky) Wright, Patrick (Jeanne) Wright, Lawrence (Barbara) Wright and Aimee (Peter) Maas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jane (Russell Winsemius) Campbell and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosemary Harris; her parents and six siblings. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 28, 2017 at Fellowship Reformed Church with Rev. Mike VanKampen officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. MEMORIALS in Helen’s memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
