Helen A. Morgan's Obituary
Helen A. Morgan, age 93, passed away Tuesday evening at a local care facility following a long illness. She was born in Olean, NY on July 2, 1917 the youngest, of two children to Harold and Mary (Connell) Dawson. On November 21, 1940, Helen married Mr. James F. Morgan, Jr. in Albany, NY. The Morgan’s moved to the Muskegon area in 1961 from Williamsville, NY, eventually settling in Norton Shores. Mrs. Morgan was employed for many years as an executive secretary at Dresser Crane. She was also an accomplished dog groomer and handler and an avid antique collector and dealer. Mrs. Morgan is survived by: two sons, John (Dona) Morgan of Norton Shores and Dr. Craig (Barbie) Morgan of Chadds Ford, PA; five grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Andrew, Drew & Holt;3 great grandchildren, Alice, Andy and James; and daughter-in-law, Kiya Morgan. She was preceded in death by her: parents; brother; husband, James in 1994; two sons, James III in 2004 and Mark in 2010. A memorial service will be at:
