Helena C. White's Obituary
Mrs. Helena C. White, age 87, of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Muskegon. She was born September 11, 1924 in Muskegon to John and Nellie (Barnhart) Westerhouse and has lived in this most of her life.
She had worked as a waitress and manager at Vic’s Restaurant and Lounge before retiring and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
On December 10, 1988 she married Richard White and he preceded her in death in February 2002. She is survived by 3 daughters: Barbara Bowditch, Helena Ohlendorf, Patricia Terry; 3 sons: Richard Sibley, Arthur Sibley, John Sibley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister, Gertrude Oliphant of Florida. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Everett Sibley and Alan Sibley; 1 daughter-in-law, Patricia Sibley; and 2 brothers, Donald Branam and Harold Branam.
Services for Helena will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Visitation will take place Friday (tonight) from 5-7 PM at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
