Dear Dave, Jeanie, Charlotte & Jerry,
I know you probably don't remember me but I want you to know that your Dad and Mom were a huge influence on my life and that of my siblings, Bill, Ray, Don, Jackie and Maxine Roelofs. They were there for us when we lost our own father at the age of 49 and your Dad would always visit our family (Monty Walters)in California whenever he traveled here with Gospel Films. I remember when your whole family came out to visit us and how excited you were when you saw a real orange tree. We have enjoyed getting to know Jim also and enjoyed visits with him and your Mom. I loved your Mom and Dad very dearly and grieve with you in her death. My brother, Don, sent me the information regarding her death and the service. May God richly bless you. David, Jeanie, Char, and Jerry - Was so sorry to read of the loss of your Mom, but rejoicing in Heaven's gain! Am just catching up on papers as my Mom was burst into Glory on May 13. Know that you all have been in my thoughts and prayers. You must know that Helen meant a great deal to me in the years we were together at Open Door and was one of the few women who showed me the meaning of true spirituality through her everyday life. I'm so grateful our paths crossed. She was - and is - a very special lady. We now have another bright and shining star to guide us and watch over us! Thinking of you and praying for all of you who loved Helen so very much. She was always special. We date way back. . .but in recent years with working and having two teen grandchildren living with me, time has been limited. I am saddened that I did not even know Helen was ill. Dear Uncle Jim, David, Jeannie, Charlotte and Jerry,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Helen but rejoice in knowing that her body and mind are no longer suffering but she is now safe in God's arms.

Can you imagine that my Mother and your Mother are at the feet of Jesus and they are catching up on all that has happened to their families in the past few years! Can't you just hear them?

I am so sorry I will not be able to come to the funeral to give you my love in person but I will be thinking and praying for all of you.

Take care and a special hug for Uncle Jim - who always smells so good. . .
