Henrietta J. "Penny" Shue's Obituary
Mrs. Henrietta Jean “Penny” Shue, age 82, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008, at her daughter’s home in Holland. She was born June 10, 1926 to Henry and Laura (Gonyon) Bramer in Frankfort, MI. On June 5, 1954 she married Elwyn “Carl” Shue in Bailey, MI. Carl preceded her in death on November 17, 1976. Penny was past Auxiliary president of VFW Post #7729. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Jean (Paul Alan) Gilbert of Muskegon and Phyllis (David Matice) McCann of Holland, MI; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, George; 2 sisters, Augie and Ellen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura “Sue” Jones; 2 granddaughters, Carol Ann Green and Rhonda Jones; 2 great-grandchildren, Alexis Jones and Justin Jones; brother, Carl and sisters, Sylvia, Gin and Marge.
