Henry James “Hank” Hawley, age 77, of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at MediLodge at the Shore. He was born on February 29, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI to Richard and Lillian (Huffman) Hawley. Hank married Leah Mac Read Obituary
Hank had a gift of reaching kids that were going through difficult time in their life. He used experiential learning to get through to them. This included a solo hike where they did not eat until they built a fire with stick and string. I was fascinated by this and he showed me. He then gave me a kit to do this myself.
Uncle Eddie was Hank's roomie at Medilodge for quite some time. We both enjoyed talking to Hank. He seemed to be a very nice, intelligent, and caring man. He will definitely be missed. His family has our deepest sympathies.
