Henry Klukos Jr.'s Obituary
Henry Klukos, Jr., age 74, of Robinson Twp. passed away at his home on January 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 9, 1948, to Evelyn and Henry Klukos, Sr., and married the former Roberta Lakanen, who preceded him in death in 2018.
Hank received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Michigan Tech and started working at the Newport News Shipyard in Virginia, in 1974. Throughout his working and retirement years, Hank truly loved being around and helping both family and friends. He always put others first. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking, going to garage sales and collecting things of interest. He rarely missed a Sunday card game with his two brothers, Dan, Sam, and nephew Scott. He was deeply devoted to his church family at LifeTree Community Church and had great respect for Pastor Jeff. He constantly encouraged his family to go with him on Sunday mornings and some did.
He is survived by his daughter: Amy (Cameron) Feenstra; grandchildren, Dakota (Riley) Feenstra, Caylee (Nicklas) Emerick, Zach (Jaime) Feenstra; brothers, Dan Klukos, Jerry (Gail) Klukos, Warren (Debbie) Klukos, Sam (Stacey) Klukos; sister, Sandy (Bob) Huff; sisters and brothers-in-law, Chris (Bob) Barrett, John (Heidi) Lakanen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
