Henry William Mazade's Obituary
Henry William Mazade, age 92, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Christian Care Nursing Center in Muskegon. He was born March 13, 1932 in Muskegon to Henry and Eleanor (Druck) Mazade and was a lifelong resident. On May 14, 1955, he married Wilma D. Payton in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on November 15, 1990. He later married Vivian Chandler on August 25, 1994 and she preceded him in death on April 10, 2018. Henry worked 42 years as a machinist for Sealed Power Corp and retired in 1994. Henry was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #706 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, crafting with Vivian, woodworking, wintering in Gulf Shores, AL, rodeo in Las Vegas and spending time with his family. Survivors include 2 sons, Henry A. Mazade, Bryon (Sharon) Mazade; and 2 generations of grandchildren. Along with his 2 wives, he was also preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jackie Keith and a brother, Robert Mazade. A Visitation will be held 2-4 PM Friday, April 5, 2024 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49441. Interment will take place at Laketon Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requested Memorial Contributions to Pound Buddies Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.
