Henry "Butch" S. Petroski's Obituary
Mr. Henry "Butch" S. Petroski, age 92, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008. He was born February 5, 1915 in Muskegon to Anton and Filomena (Tarcyak) Petrowski and had resided in the area all of his life. Mr. Petroski was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, and loved all sports, especially fishing and baseball. He had worked for 30 years at Teledyne Continental Motors before retiring in 1973. Mr. Petroski married the former Helen Egner, and she preceded him in death in 1999. SURVIVORS include 2 children, William H. (Gwen) Petroski of Grand Rapids, MI, and Anthony J. Petroski of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Keri (Dennis) Belanger, Holly (Greg) Samuels, Jill Petroski all of Grand Rapids and Jodi (Brian) Dunn of Massachusetts; 3 great grandchildren, Brad Petroski of Grand Rapids and Morgan and Skylar Dunn of Massachusetts; sister, Josephine Collins of Florida; two special nieces, Joane Southland and Diane Scott Bernard both of Muskegon, and many other nieces and nephews. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 12 Noon Tuesday, at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Brown presiding. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 11-12PM. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
