Henry C. Kroemer's Obituary
Mr. Henry Carl Kroemer, age 79, passed away Wednesday morning, October 8, 2003 at his home. He was born May 17, 1924 in Fremont, MI to Henry and Iva (Whiteneck) Kroemer and lived in the Muskegon area the past 35 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. Prior to retirement in 1989, he worked the assembly line at Brown-Morse Co. and had previously worked at National Products. Mr. Kroemer enjoyed hunting and fishing. On February 15, 1964, he married the former Pauline M. Doxtader in Fremont, MI and she survives him, along with 1 daughter, Beverly (Albert) Wildfong of White Cloud, MI; 5 grandsons, 11 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Helen Mouton of Grant, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 step-son, Leonard Mayo, Sr., 1 brother, Andrew “Jack” Kroemer, and 3 sisters, Carolyn Hooker, Dorothy Hamil, and Ruth Spletzer. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana.
