Henry C. Kroeze's Obituary
Mr. Henry C. “Bud” Kroeze, age 90, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on December 31, 1913 to George & Hattie (Hendricks) Kroeze and had resided in the Muskegon area all of his life. Mr. Kroeze was the proprietor of Roman Coal Company, and later employed at Roadway Trailer Rental. He was currently a member of Unity Reformed Church, a former member of Fifth Reformed Church, and a charter member of Pine Grove Reformed Church where he served as elder and deacon. On August 27, 1937, he married the former Sophie Bewelda, and she preceded him in death on March 29, 1990. SURVIVORS included two children Cheryl (Ford) Bigalow of Norton Shores, James (Darlene) Kroeze of Jenison; 8 grandchildren and 16 great –grandchildren and special friend Thelma Yonker. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Unity Reformed Church, 1521 Porter Rd, with James Bos and Kyle DeYoung officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. Memorials many be given to Unity Reformed Church.
