Herbert "Herbie" W. Zimmerman's Obituary
Mr. Herbert “Herbie” Wayne Zimmerman, age 68, formerly of Fruitport passed away April 1, 2011. He was born in Grand Haven on April 1, 1943 to Herbert and Mary (Farrer) Zimmerman.
He was a local tool and die maker. He loved fast cars, NASCAR, friends and his beloved dogs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Jean (Ennega) Zimmerman, his daughter, Cara McGruder of Muskegon and Jeffery Cowins of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren Jade McGruder and Cassidy Cowins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Norma Boyink.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 4, 2011 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake with Rev. Jerald Poehl officiating.
