Herlinda Harwood's Obituary
Mrs. Herlinda Harwood, age 85, passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Harwood was born March 23, 1923 to Jose and Carmen Rodriguez in San Antonio, TX. On February 16, 1946 she married Edward M. Harwood in Ludington and resided there until 2004 when she moved to the Muskegon area. Edward preceded her in death on July 5, 1996. Herlinda was employed at Star Watch Case for 30 years. She loved tending her flowers at her home in Ludington. Herlinda is survived by her sons, Emanuel “Manny” (Brenda) Harwood of Muskegon, Armando (Karen) Harwood of Holland, MI and Edward A. (Judy) Harwood of Virginia; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Paula Albrecht, Frances (John) McDonald, Sandra Griffin; 2 brothers, Rudy (Mae) Rodriguez and John (Sandra) Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Mary and Carmen and 3 brothers, Jesse, Joe and Fred. The FUNERAL LITURGY will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 19, 2008 at
The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210 with Rev. Fr. Michael Cilibraise presiding. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington. VISITATION will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday with a Scripture Service at 6:00 PM.
