H. Florene "Toots" Trudell's Obituary
Mrs. H. Florene “Toots” Trudell, age 85, passed away Tuesday evening, August 1, 2006. She was born February 25, 1921 to Robert and Hattie (Gladson) Blakley in Indianapolis, IN, and moved to the Muskegon area 65 years ago. She worked at Lakeway Chemical for 20 years, and was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church. Florene was married to George C. Burke, who preceded her in death in 1956. She later married Thomas M. Trudell, who preceded her in death in 2002. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, William (Julie) Burke, Steve (Patti) Burke; daughter-in-law, Cathy Burke; step-son, Paul (Mary) Trudell; step-daughter, Jan (Steve) Holweg; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty Richardson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Burke. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Friday at Lakeside United Methodist Church, with Rev. David A. Selleck officiating.
