Mrs. Hilda Jean Hall's Obituary
Mrs. Hilda Jean Hall, age 89, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 resulting from a fall. Hilda was born May 29, 1927 to Earl and Alice (Keene) Bunnell in Muskegon. On July 3, 1945 she married Bobby Hall and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2003. Hilda was employed at Misco-Howmet as a supervisor for 32 years. She was a member of Christ Community Congregational Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 219 in Florida. She loved watching Detroit Tigers, Lions and Michigan football. Hilda will be greatly missed by her son, Bob C (Jeanne) Hall of Muskegon; her daughter-in-law, Jane Hall of Lady Lake, FL; grandchildren, Mike Horton, Jennifer (Rob) Richardson, Joe (Holly) Conrad, Clint (Angie) Hall and Stacey Bantjes; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Earl Bunnell; sisters, Ila Hunt, Doris Rollins and Ruth Tobin and special friend, Lana Hall. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard; sisters, Holice Hinkle, Alta Snyder and Geraldine Hunt. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 3, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231 726-5210 with Rev. Ben Jansen officiating. VISITATION will be 2-5 PM Sunday. Burial will be in Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall. Memorial contributions may be made to DAV – Muskegon Chapter 11 or the USS LST 393.
