Hope (Thompson) Noordhoek's Obituary
Mrs. Hope (Thompson) Noordhoek, age 54, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home. She was born March 11, 1956 in Grand Haven, MI to Harold and Una (Hudson) Thompson. She married Richard “Rick” A. Noordhoek on May 9, 1987 in Ferrysburg, MI and he survives her. Hope worked as a bar tender for 10 years at Ye Old Tavern owned by Bill and Val Fortenbacher. SURVIVORS include her husband, Rick; son, Jason (Kim) Noordhoek of Muskegon and their daughter, Cassidy Jo Noordhoek. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey Street (231) 798-1100 with the Rev. Jeff Boersema officiating. VISITATION with Hope’s family will be held one hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to Mercy Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Inc.
