My father is Howard John Botbyl, alive an doing well. This really freaked me out! My dad is also an avid hunter and fisherman. We celebrated his 71 birthday on June 25, 2007.

To all our family and friends..your comfort at this difficult time is greatly appreciated...I miss my Dad so very much - but he'd be the first person to tell me "you don't get out of this world alive"...but, right now it is so very lonely without him to talk too and share my day with...I'm leaving for Florida on the 19th - can't wait to get down with my Don - please remember me in your prayers and think happy thoughts of Dad, it is how he would have wanted it! Having known Mr. Botbyl for some time as the respiratory therapist who cared for him I know that he is no longer suffering, but I know from recent experience that losing a parent is so tough. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I already missed him when he went to the Poppen House and will miss him even more now. He was a man of incredible stength and I will always remember that.
